I appreciate the contributions I'm receiving from people within or near the space industry about issues they believe are being misreported, or entirely unreported. But I don't use anonymous material -- you must find a way to trust that I will protect your identity (as I have for many, many others, without exception, over the years), but you must share that identity. There are numerous techniques that I have perfected to safely exchange messages and materials, and we can use them. But emails or snail-mails or voicemails with uncheckable origins -- no matter how intriguing the contents -- cannot and will not be useful. Lots of people have helped me with my news reporting and analysis, and I couldn't have done as well without them, so I'm always hoping for more inputs from new sources. Be courageous, and keep faith with the future, which requires verifiable accuracy today.
Thank you. |
